Our digitization software PowerFilm was soon adopted by Kodak Imaging who decided to take it world wide through their International marketing operation and its success has been continuous over the past ten years. Following our early success we moved our attention into the development of an automatic document indexing and powerful search system, known as PowerRetrieve. From small and medium size companies to multi-national organisations, InfoCAP products are being used throughout the world.

Criminal Investigations – Law Enforcement

Through a well established working relationship with Strathclyde Police Force we soon recognised that PowerRetrieve provided a unique solution to the high volumes of paper documents that have to be interrogated in the course of Police investigations. Developing the software still further we have been able to address the many requirements of an investigation team that need to be able to rapidly interrogate the contents of both paper based and electronic office documents where, so often that all important piece of incriminating evidence is hidden away in the depths of document contents.

We are now able to provide a total package of secure data capture and conversion of paper based documents into digital images, indexing the entire content of each page via our unique Pattern indexing software, PowerRetrieve. The resulting searchable file room is then downloaded onto the investigation team’s in-house PowerRetrieve system. We now have many customers in Law Enforcement and Public Inquires including over 40 Police Forces throughout the UK as well as major investigation teams within HM Revenue & Customs and the Health & Safety Executive to name but a few; our solutions are invaluable in the fight against crime and our support and development is continuous.
