Windows 7 Support
As of the end of June 2010, PowerRetrieve Net v4.0.1 has been released. This version supports all the PowerRetrieve Net client modules under Windows 7 Professional Edition. PowerRetrieve Net v4.0.1 also supports Windows 7 Professional Edition as the Net Server for entry level Net installations. All testing was done under Windows 7 Professional Edition, so this is the only explicitly supported environment. However, we do not expect any issue with the Enterprise or Ultimate editions. There are no plans to support the Starter or Home Editions of Windows 7. Installation was tested while logged into Windows as an Administrator level account. The PowerRetrieve Search and Filer clients were tested while logged into Windows 7 as a Standard account with User Access Control enabled.
